Preparing for Adulthood – An event for young people and their families 

Don’t Miss the ‘Preparing for Adulthood’ event - for Surrey SEND young people and their families.

The ‘Preparing for Adulthood’ event is for year 8 students and older, and their families. You’ll be able to access information that will help you plan for and access routes to employment, independent living, good health and community inclusion – whatever is right for you.

You’ll be able to hear success stories from young people and their families alongside their schools, colleges and employers.

Key speakers include:

  • Linda Jordan from the National Development Team for Preparing for Adulthood
  • Steve Broach, a lawyer and a disability and children’s rights advocate


There’s something for all the family – face painting, nail treatments, drama and music and more!
