Who we are

We are a GP-led organisation responsible for planning and buying hospital, community and mental health services across the districts of Tandridge, Redhill, Reigate and Horley. Our membership of 17 local GP practices can really get to know our patients so that we can be more responsive to local needs, and commission high quality and safe health services that make the best use of your money.

We believe in the NHS and want to help secure its future by shaping services locally that are responsive to the needs of our community and affordable. We want to see as many services as possible transferred away from a hospital environment and nearer to patients’ homes when clinically appropriate. We want our local hospital to become a centre of excellence.

We believe this will result in measurable improvements in healthcare for our patients and ensure we make best use of public money.

We are part of the Central Sussex and East Surrey Commissioning Alliance, a joint way of working across the five CCGs of central Sussex and East Surrey – Brighton and Hove, Crawley, East Surrey High Weald Lewes Havens and Horsham and Mid Sussex – that will allow the organisations to work closer together to commission services more efficiently and effectively for our local populations.
