Most of our GP member practices have a Patient Participation Group (PPG).
The role of these groups is primarily to support the practice - giving thoughts ideas and opinions, helping with specific pieces of work that call for a patient perspective and acting as a communicator between the practice and their community. PPGs also represent their practice population through East Surrey CCG's patient Reference Group.
To find out more about your practice and the work of PPGs check out their website or speak to your Practice Manager.
We are inviting patients registered with East Surrey practices to complete the PPG survey to enable East Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and the PPG network Chair to understand the role and activities of PPGs along with the skills and expertise of PPG members. The results will be shared on the CCG website. East Surrey CCG Patient Reference Group
The role of the Patient Reference Group (PRG) is to help the Governing Body of NHS East Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group (ESCCG) make decisions about the services they commission and to ensure that these services meet the health needs of the local population.
