Greystone House Surgery in Redhill has now opened its new extension. They were awarded the funding by NHS England to build an extension to the existing building.
The extension includes 6 new consulting rooms, 1 new treatment room and a large meeting room. The extension will allow the surgery to increase their GP training capacity from two to three trainees at any one time, they will also benefit from hosting further services which benefit their patients and those from our neighbouring practices, these services include; Heart Failure Clinic, Diabetic Dietician, MS Specialist nurse, Well Being Social Prescriber, Counsellor, First Contact Physiotherapist and Pharmacist.
Dr Elango Vijaykumar Clinical Chair East Surrey CCG said; “We are delighted that the extension at Greystone House is now open, this is a great example of the investment taking place in Primary Care and I know it will benefit local residents”.
There was a gathering last Friday to mark the completion which was open to all patients, retired Partners and staff, members of our patient group and we they were also joined by Mr Crispin Blunt (the local MP).
