Health plans for 2018-2020 to be discussed at meeting in public 

NHS East Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group (ESCCG)’s Governing Body is set to discuss its 2017 - 2022 Commissioning Strategy at its next Board meeting held in public on 11 January 2018, from 10.30 – 12.30.

All are invited to attend our meeting at the Council Chamber of Tandridge District Council, which is on the ground floor of the Tandridge District Council offices at 8 Station Road, Oxted, RH8 0BT. East Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group Governing Body includes: the Clinical Chair Dr Elango Vijaykumar who also works as a GP in East Surrey, our Chief Officer, our Chief Finance Officer, clinical leads who are also local GPs, an independent clinical representatives and lay representatives.

The event is an opportunity for you to find out more about our NHS clinical commissioning group including our current priorities and plans for the future of local health services and health policies. Also discussed at the meeting will be the performance of local hospitals, NHS care services covering acute hospitals, mental health, community care, ambulance services, and more.

NHS East Surrey CCG Clinical Chair, Dr Elango Vijaykumar, said: “As 2018 begins we want to ensure our high quality commissioning standards continue, whilst also striving to improve our financial position making the best use of every NHS pound we spend.”

Time will be set aside for questions from members of the public, who are welcome to attend. People can submit questions to the Governing Body in writing, up to five days prior to the formal opening of the board meeting. Submissions should be made via this link on our website.
